The TPB requires us to give current and prospective clients the following information. ### The TPB register The TPB maintains a public register of tax agents and BAS agents, which you can search on the [TPB website](https://www.tpb.gov.au/public-register). You can view [our registration details on the TPB register](https://myprofile.tpb.gov.au/public-register/practitioner/?ran=26093041). ### Making a complaint to the TPB If you have a concern about our tax agent services, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You can also make a complaint about a tax practitioner to the TPB using its online complaints form. More information is available on the [TPB complaints page](https://www.tpb.gov.au/complaints). ### Our obligations, and yours As a registered tax agent, we must comply with the Code of Professional Conduct in the *Tax Agent Services Act 2009* (Cth). Among other things, it requires us to act honestly and with integrity, act lawfully in your best interests, keep your information confidential unless we have your permission or a legal duty to disclose it, provide our services competently, and advise you of your rights and obligations under the taxation laws. You also have obligations, including giving us complete and accurate information, keeping the records that support your tax affairs, and telling us about changes that may affect them. The TPB’s [Information for clients factsheet](https://www.tpb.gov.au/sites/default/files/2025-03/Information%20for%20clients%20factsheet%202025_0.pdf) explains these rights and obligations in more detail. ### Prescribed events and matters There have been no prescribed events or matters in the last five years that we are required to disclose. ## Financial advice and authorisations Financial product advice is provided through **Verity Finance Pty Ltd** (Corporate Authorised Representative No. **1296510**), authorised under **Advice Practice Alliance Pty Ltd** (ABN 37 658 054 052, Australian Financial Services Licence No. **552467**). **Tommy Li** is an individual Authorised Representative (No. **1261831**) authorised through Verity Finance Pty Ltd. The financial services and classes of financial products that may be advised on are described in the Financial Services Guide (Part 1) and Tommy Li's Adviser Profile (Part 2). Tax and accounting services and mortgage or credit assistance are separate activities and are not provided under Advice Practice Alliance's AFSL; the applicable service provider, engagement and regulatory disclosures will depend on the work requested. ### Not independent Advice Practice Alliance's Financial Services Guide explains that the licensee receives commissions on life risk insurance products. Accordingly, the financial advice services are not described as independent, impartial or unbiased.
